Kitchens

Objective This homeowner wanted to replace her old screen porch and deck with a heated sun room addition and patio that would maximize the view of the pond and golf course behind her home. The addition would serve as the 19th hole for entertaining after rounds of golf at the country club.

Project overview

• The old screen porch and deck were removed to make way for the new space.

• The basement wall needed to be waterproofed before we could get underway.

• Tall Pella casement windows & patio doors with transoms were used for maximum viewing and efficiency.

• Six Velux skylights were installed, two of them were operable to allow for circulation of air.

• To create a rustic look, the ceiling was covered with tongue and groove cedar boards and trim.

• Roofing and cedar siding were installed to match the existing creating an “always been there” look.

• The Maple wet bar contains a mini fridge, an ice-maker, display cabinets and granite tops.

• Greentree Landscape Design built the brick paver patio and sidewalks and redid the landscaping.
