Objective This kitchen went through quite a transformation! It was previously covered with aqua and black colored tiles over the entire wall and ceiling surfaces and the small size did not provide comfortable dining space. We bumped out the entire rear side of the house and stretched this gracious country kitchen out to make room for a cooking island with snack bar and take advantage of the deep lot's views. While we were at it we moved and expanded a tiny first floor bath and added a butler-type china cabinet near the formal dining room. Stunning!
