This project was featured in the February 2002 issue of Cleveland Magazine. The goal was to convert a standard L-shaped ranch into a cozy contemporary.

The objective was achieved by removing the deep overhangs at the garage and front porch area and adding a cedar pergola at the front entrance. We then combined the two front bedrooms, creating a larger master bedroom with oversized walk-in closet.

We added large casement windows at the Southeast corner of the home and at the bathroom. A window box-out was created at the headboard area.

The exterior was given a total make-over with the use of Cultured Stone at the front face of the home and the chimney and wide trim to offset the windows. New ivory green vinyl siding and sand colored trim was added to the house to complete the transformation.
