This basement had been finished out by the previous owners. Our client wanted to update the basement to create a "more open feeling" for entertaining friends and family.

We achieved our objective by removing the existing stair system and installing an open tread custom Maple stair and railing system. A wet bar and trophy case were added using Decora maple cabinets with glass doors and shelves, granite tops, and mirrored backsplashes. We were able to remove two steel posts by adding steel to the beams for additional support.

The creative use of can lights, sconce lights, halogen under cabinet lights, and rope lighting all with special dimmer controls help set the mood for an intimate evening or entertaining large groups.

The state of the art entertainment system with integrated surround sound system tops off this incredible space.
